Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Makaay in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greg House prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolai Otamendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Alvarenga in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Alvarenga in the 8th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greg House showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 9th minute of the match. Roy Makaay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greg House made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guo Ao in the 25th minute of play. Roy Makaay might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Greg House. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roy Makaay ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute of the match, Roy Makaay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Greg House saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the match, Fabrício Dionísio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nenko Reza. Villaverde Celeste Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrício Dionísio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goalkeeper Greg House, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorival Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Guo Ao came free, but Greg House reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dorival Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roy Makaay was the one to do the kick off. Greg House showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Guo Ao came free, but Greg House reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nenko Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Alvarenga in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Hans Egfelt got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 64th match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greg House saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guo Ao in the 72nd minute of play forced Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goalkeeper Greg House to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nenko Reza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Lewandowski went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Lewandowski got free with Nenko Reza in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Makaay in the 84th minute of play forced Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goalkeeper Greg House to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colin Bell kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Roy Makaay notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Greg House. Greg House was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nenko Reza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Augusto Coutinho in the 94th minute. In the 94th minute, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Pedro Augusto Coutinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
