The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 6 minutes on the clock, Gilson Arósio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of AllRaf EC booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Arce in the 10th minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Gildo Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Váldson Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's David Fernandes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gildo Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 36th minute, but Gildo Simões got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Carrapichel - FDFDF hanging dry this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Arce in the 43rd minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Gildo Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Carrapichel - FDFDF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tony Dias hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Váldson Alagoano's late challenge caught a AllRaf EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Váldson Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. Váldson Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. AllRaf EC made a substitution. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gildo Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Gaúcho in the 87th minute of play. Tony Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the AllRaf EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
