With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cengizhan Baycan in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Christini saved Edson Futebol Clube from getting behind. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Damião in the 9th minute of play. Paul Christini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengizhan Baycan in the 11th minute of the match. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Karkantos in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Edson Futebol Clube defense, Cengizhan Baycan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Christini. The Edson Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Christini should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Cactos's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Karkantos came free, but Bran Allison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Panos Karkantos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cactos's Bran Allison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Cactos from getting a goal against them. Bran Allison was a little too slow when Panos Karkantos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Ernesto Fontes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cactos's Bran Allison. Bran Allison was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Cactos's Cengizhan Baycan in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edson Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Edson Futebol Clube's zone, Cengizhan Baycan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Christini came out of the goal and Cengizhan Baycan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cengizhan Baycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paul Christini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengizhan Baycan in the 44th minute of play. Cengizhan Baycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Paul Christini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Cengizhan Baycan in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paul Christini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 56 minutes into the match, Cactos's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Karkantos came free, but Bran Allison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cactos were furious when Ademir Rodrigues was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cactos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Edson Futebol Clube. Betinho Damião stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bran Allison. 3-1. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paul Christini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Cactos's Matias Gaitan to fire away a dangerous shot which Paul Christini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Paul Christini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cactos's Dorival de Carvalho was substituted for Emerson Guedes. Edson Futebol Clube's Heleno de Freitas was substituted for Betinho Damião. In the 71st minute Cactos were awarded a corner. Dorival de Carvalho went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Cactos's corner Dorival de Carvalho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paul Christini quite easily take care of the ball. In the 73rd minute Ernesto Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bran Allison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Karkantos in the 75th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Alim Karaman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Bran Allison was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paul Christini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Gaitan in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Fontes in the 87th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Heleno de Freitas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Bran Allison was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Gruchacz in the 91st minute of play. Panos Karkantos scored 6-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bran Allison, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
