In the 3rdth minute of the game Iago Bala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Bala in the 4th minute of play. Iago Bala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldo de Moraes having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iago Bala came free, but Ronaldo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Iago Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodrigo Altamirano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Rasiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Altamirano in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Vista Alegre FC were awarded a corner. Lex Nelis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Galen Kvick almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak did a great save. With a little luck, America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak got control of the ball when Marco Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Altamirano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Stefan Rasiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dreas Jamieson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rodrigo Altamirano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes America Futebol Clube SP got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Capixaba. In the 47th match minute, America Futebol Clube SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Vista Alegre FC's Lex Nelis tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zézinho Costa was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Soares came free, but Stefan Rasiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Rasiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Altamirano in the 64th minute of the match. The throw-in from Elias Proença in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by America Futebol Clube SP's Carlos Capixaba. Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Vista Alegre FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 91st minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Proença charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Proença the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 95 minutes into the match, Zézinho Costa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes. Ronaldo de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
