The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldemar Losantos got free with Manuel Moya in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salbatore Ramis made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Baldemar Losantos however managed to control. Manuel Moya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldemar Losantos in the 15th minute of the match. Manuel Moya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricki Dresager in the 17th minute of play. Reno Fonticoba went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Uzumaki FC's Reno Fonticoba to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Moya despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Manuel Moya managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Uzumaki FC's Ricki Dresager fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Uzumaki FC's Ricki Dresager was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ricki Dresager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uzumaki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricki Dresager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Moya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Murcia Promesas's Manuel Moya got control of the ball when Baldemar Losantos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldemar Losantoss short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Manuel Moya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Murcia Promesas's goalkeeper Manuel Moya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricki Dresager. After a rather tough play, Murcia Promesas's Diego Velázquez got a free kick in the 40th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Uzumaki FC's Reno Fonticoba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Moya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Sirvent kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Hondo Perpiñán fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uzumaki FC's protests and gave Hondo Perpiñán a yellow card for diving instead. Ricki Dresager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gav Smith made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Baldemar Losantos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Moya was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When Joel Sirvent fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murcia Promesas's protests and gave Joel Sirvent a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Sirvent to maneuver through the defense. Baldemar Losantos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Moya having to interfere. Mike Maignan came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Murcia Promesas's Gav Smith. But to his dismay, Gav Smith quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Murcia Promesas's Tome Martin was substituted for Ziggy Zaga. 69 minutes into the match, Uzumaki FC's Hondo Perpiñán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Moya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uzumaki FC's Arotza Goyanes got a free kick in the 70th minute. Murcia Promesas's Manuel Moya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricki Dresager in the 72nd minute of play. Hondo Perpiñán's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Moya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Manuel Moya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricki Dresager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Moya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricki Dresager in the 81st minute of the match. Uzumaki FC's Hondo Perpiñán got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abram Elano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricki Dresager in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Moya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Reno Fonticoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
