Evander Zabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evander Zabel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osmar Goiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Oskar Haeger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Osmar Goiano had several of the Hermanö Oilers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Oskar Haeger as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 23rd minute, Ciudad Tao FC's Osmar Goiano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oskar Haeger. Oskar Haeger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Isto Holttinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evander Zabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar Goiano got free with Oskar Haeger in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Oskar Haeger successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 37 minutes, Isto Holttinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudad Tao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isto Holttinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evander Zabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingemar Stålman went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Isto Holttinen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ciudad Tao FC's Oskar Haeger threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isto Holttinen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Rosin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isto Holttinen to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Filippo came free, but Evander Zabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciudad Tao FC's Evander Zabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Filippo came free, but Evander Zabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciudad Tao FC's Hubert Hamnberg was substituted for Salomon Quaade. 89 minutes into the match, Jairo Malheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oskar Haeger. Hermanö Oilers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Malheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Štěpán Flídr made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hermanö Oilers's Sven-Olof Dalberg. In the 96th minute, Dave Di Filippo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evander Zabel. The goal made the score 5-4. Ciudad Tao FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
