In the 15th minute, A.J. 太史慈 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emil Wahlström. The goal made the score 1-1. Odion Tao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Forssell kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Åhman in the 24th minute of play. Tomas Kielstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Harry Forssell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Odion Tao was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Odion Tao came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hogans Heroes's Harry Forssell. But to his dismay, Harry Forssell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Kielstedt in the 45th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Odion Tao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Hogans Heroes got a corner. Melchester Rovers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bright Morningstar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Melchester Rovers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hogans Heroes were winning 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Sandwall made a kick off. Emil Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. 太史慈, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Emil Wahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from A.J. 太史慈, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Wahlström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Sandwall's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Kielstedt in the 62nd minute of play. Odion Tao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Kielstedt in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Hogans Heroes's Sven-Oskar Åhman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Odion Tao. Odion Tao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 72nd minute of the match, Sven-Oskar Åhman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Odion Tao saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute Hogans Heroes were awarded a corner. Bright Morningstar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Melchester Rovers's goalie and right to Bernt Strömberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Melchester Rovers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Harry Forssell sped through Melchester Rovers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Odion Tao. Odion Tao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Åhman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling A.J. 太史慈 in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Wahlström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 played minutes Hogans Heroes got a freekick which was hit by Bright Morningstar. Tomas Kielstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Odion Tao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Gregersson's late challenge caught a Melchester Rovers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Gregersson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Charles Gregersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hogans Heroes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
