After 3 played minutes AC Papaya got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Berggren. Zézinho Vasconcelos made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Szymon Parzysz immediately put the ball in play. 11 minutes into the match, Martin Palmquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigvard Edström. AC Papaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Palmquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of AC Papaya booed when Hisingstads BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Källberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Georg Karlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Papaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Oliver Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sonny Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Holm having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hisingstads BK's Martin Palmquist got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, AC Papaya's goalkeeper Sigvard Edström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anders Kruse. After some careless play in the Hisingstads BK defense, Georg Karlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor Holm. The Hisingstads BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor Holm should have stopped the shot. AC Papaya's Sigvard Edström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Palmquist in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, AC Papaya's Sigvard Edström got control of the ball when Anders Kruse tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Anders Kruse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hisingstads BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Kruse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anders Kruse to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Palmquist in the 53rd minute of play forced AC Papaya's goalkeeper Sigvard Edström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Odin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sigvard Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Parzysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Parzysz in the 56th minute of the match. The AC Papaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Tor Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Karlsson in the 68th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Szymon Parzysz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigvard Edström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 85 minutes into the game, Sonny Berggren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tor Holm. Sonny Berggren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. In the 91st minute Szymon Parzysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Edström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigvard Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Friberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, AC Papaya's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Friberg came free, but Sigvard Edström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hisingstads BK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing AC Papaya to win.
