If Olov Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Andrew Baller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elefanterna's Ove Orm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 played minutes Elefanterna got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Uggla. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egil Eagle in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åke Magnusson saved Finninge Fotboll from getting behind. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Finninge Fotboll booed when Elefanterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Kobra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andrew Baller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hjalmar Hjort blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Åke Magnusson having to make a save. 37 minutes into the game, Andrew Baller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ove Orm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Åke Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elefanterna were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Finninge Fotboll's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nilmar Paraense took the corner. Elefanterna's Egil Eagle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Åke Magnusson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 43 minutes, Andrew Baller made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Elefanterna's Ove Orm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olov Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ove Orm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Baller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hjalmar Hjort was the one to do the kick off. Ove Orm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Baller in the 51st minute. Åke Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Hjort in the 53rd minute of play. Åke Magnusson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Åkesson went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ove Orm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Baller in the 57th minute of the match. With his leg Ove Orm managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Finninge Fotboll's Andrew Baller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elefanterna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nilmar Paraense in the 62nd minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Nilmar Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elefanterna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilmar Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Elefanterna's Ove Orm got control of the ball when Andrew Baller tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 72 in the game by Andrew Baller from a close distance when the talented Ove Orm managed to make a qualified save. Elefanterna's players were relieved. 77 minutes in the game Rikard Ripa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Olov Åkesson. Finninge Fotboll's Åke Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Eagle in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Jimmie Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrew Baller got free with Ove Orm in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Andrew Baller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Baller in the 85th minute of play forced Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Strand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ove Orm made a huge save. Egil Eagle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Åke Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Finninge Fotboll's zone, Olov Åkesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Magnusson came out of the goal and Olov Åkesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hjalmar Hjort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Magnusson having to interfere. Hjalmar Hjort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Åke Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Elefanterna had been in control for most of the match, Finninge Fotboll still came away with the win.
