Guaberto Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Cassar Torreggiani having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Göran Ekström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute Alexander Svartengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Cassar Torreggiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Xi Ang, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Svartengren came free, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Guaberto Perico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 minutes, Glenn Raeijmaeckers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blåvitt and the Outsiders FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Outsiders FC booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Raeijmaeckers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Outsiders FC's Guaberto Perico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Cassar Torreggiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Perico made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Outsiders FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Prince to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Eriksson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Göran Ekström. Outsiders FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Outsiders FC's Mike Cassar Torreggiani threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Deljan Nastevski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mike Cassar Torreggiani didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Mike Cassar Torreggiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Perico in the 59th minute of play. Göran Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Raeijmaeckers in the 63rd minute of the match. Mike Cassar Torreggiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Perico in the 69th minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Mike Cassar Torreggiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Blåvitt's Glenn Raeijmaeckers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Ekström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Göran Ekström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glenn Raeijmaeckers went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Göran Ekström came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Blåvitt's Gösta Lundberg. But to his dismay, Gösta Lundberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A nice corner shot did that Song Xi Ang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mike Cassar Torreggiani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 92 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Prince came free, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Perico in the 96th minute of play.
