Spectators: 177 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rubén Martínez started the match with the kick off. Rubén Martínez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubén Martínez in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Ni Zhen Feng made a precise shot to the right of Eladio Escalona. Colo-Colo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Chițac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ni Zhen Feng spun around in front of the goal 18 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Colo-Colo's goal. Eladio Escalona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Zárate, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Papazisis in the 24th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Eladio Escalona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubén Martínez in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Baez FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Danilo Zárate hit a great ball. With a little luck, Colo-Colo's Eladio Escalona got control of the ball when Danilo Zárate tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Colo-Colo made a substitution. Carlitos Caszely replaced Patrício Yáñez. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Carlitos Caszely sent off a good shot on target. Ni Zhen Feng hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Ni Zhen Feng came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Baez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ni Zhen Feng couldn't finish the play. Colo-Colo made a substitution. Emerson Pereira replaced José Julio Almeida. Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Droguett in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Baez FC's zone, Honorio Droguett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Jesus Carvallo came out of the goal and Honorio Droguett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Reiner Braun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Christie came free, but Horacio Jesus Carvallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Baez FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Zárate. In the 83rd minute Thalis Papazisis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eladio Escalona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Zhen Feng in the 87th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Eladio Escalona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Baez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thalis Papazisis to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlitos Caszely in the 91st minute. Carlitos Caszely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Horacio Jesus Carvallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
