Club Atlético Lea Papá's Ramiro Cuevas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lea Papá defense, Carlos Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hong Qing. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hong Qing should have stopped the shot. Hong Qing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Alex França stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hong Qing. 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, Alan Marinelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandro Gavilanes. FC Philotimo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Marinelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. FC Philotimo were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Club Atlético Lea Papá's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elco Vid took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Ruben Meldasgoas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alvarez made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo-Pedro Poy in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandro Gavilanes saved FC Philotimo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alvarez in the 62nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper Hong Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandro Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Figueroa Machado couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Figueroa Machado came free, but Hong Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hong Qing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Figueroa Machado's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Hong Qing didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Philotimo's Figueroa Machado shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Figueroa Machado took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hong Qing. Hong Qing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Philotimo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
