The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dida Mesquita's late challenge caught a Vae Victis!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dida Mesquita hit a great ball. After 4 played minutes, Vae Victis!!'s José Carlos de Salles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vae Victis!! reached it. João Augusto Quintal was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Humberto Linhares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Linhares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. João Augusto Quintal made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Agron Elmasllari sent off a good shot on target. Agron Elmasllari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but João Augusto Quintal made a huge save. The supporters of Vae Victis!! booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mads Saver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Capixaba in the 14th minute of the match. If Agron Elmasllari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's Vitório Paraense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mads Saver narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Capixaba in the 23rd minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Mads Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Vae Victis!!'s Dacian Măcriș made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Augusto Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Claudinho Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mads Saver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vae Victis!!'s Mads Saver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Paraense in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Tande in the 35th minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Mads Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Paiva to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Paraense in the 39th minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Mads Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mads Saver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. Vitório Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Delfim Mangueira hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitório Paraense to make the kick off. Gilmar Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mads Saver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Quintal came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Vae Victis!!'s Dacian Măcriș. But to his dismay, Dacian Măcriș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Allan Campidelis's late challenge caught a Vae Victis!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Allan Campidelis hit a great ball. MUSHIBA FC's João Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Magalhães in the 72nd minute of play. João Augusto Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Mads Saver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Valadares. After 77 played minutes Vae Victis!! got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Galvão. In the 80th minute Maurinho Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mads Saver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mads Saver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Valadares's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Valentin Ţirpescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Augusto Quintal having to make a save. Vae Victis!!'s Valentin Ţirpescu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 92nd minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Augusto Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Ţirpescu in the 93rd minute of the match. Maurinho Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MUSHIBA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
