After 6 minutes of play, Until Five's Carlos Saúl Recalde made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Carlos Saúl Recalde made a precise shot to the right of Juan Velloso. Oranil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Juan Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Saúl Recalde in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Sérgio Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oranil and the Until Five players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Until Five booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Saldanha. In the 23rd minute, Carlos Saúl Recalde made a precise shot to the right of Juan Velloso. Oranil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Juan Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Recife in the 30th minute of play. The Until Five fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Until Five's Carlos Saúl Recalde looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sérgio das Neves hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The Until Five fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Until Five's Carlos Saúl Recalde looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Saúl Recalde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Carlos Saúl Recalde put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Juan Velloso.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléber Saldanha to make the kick off. Oséas Recife could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Juan Velloso made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Recife got free with Juan Velloso in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sérgio Freire hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 63rdth minute of the game Carlos Saúl Recalde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oranil's Juan Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oranil's Juan Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Oranil from getting a goal against them. After 66 minutes of play, Until Five's Oséas Recife made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the game, Carlos Saúl Recalde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Velloso. Carlos Saúl Recalde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Juan Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Saúl Recalde went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Oranil's Sérgio Freire got a free kick in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Until Five's Oséas Recife slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juan Velloso. That made the score 0-11 after 80 minutes of play. Oranil's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlos Saúl Recalde 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-12. With an all-out effort, Until Five's Juan Velloso threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Saúl Recalde, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Saúl Recalde in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Until Five could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oranil throughout the match.
