After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Antônio Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC La Masia's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dibag Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Simões in the 20th minute of play forced FC La Masia's goalkeeper Cesinha do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xiboquinha FC's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Bittencourt in the 22nd minute of play. Cesinha do Vale made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Caetano Simões sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Simões got free with Cesinha do Vale in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xiboquinha FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olavo Moreno in the 29th minute. Dibag Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro Correia made a great header on FC La Masia's corner, it was just that Xiboquinha FC's Dibag Martinez managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the game, Santiago Ascacíbar threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC La Masia's Matheus Soeiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yenal Kargin in the 53 minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Caetano Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesinha do Vale. FC La Masia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Antônio Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dibag Martinez having to interfere. FC La Masia made a substitution. Cristiano Xavier replaced Diogo Bittencourt. Xiboquinha FC's Tiago Safadão was substituted for Tiquinho Soares. FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Simões in the 68th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Safadão came free, but Cesinha do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Xavier in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dibag Martinez saved Xiboquinha FC from getting behind. Dibag Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Xavier in the 83rd minute of the match. When Cristiano Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC La Masia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Xavier couldn't finish the play. If Antônio Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Safadão in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Xiboquinha FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC La Masia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
