Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dinei Rosa started the match with the kick off. In the 14th minute, Agua Santa's Ernani Valladares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Eugênio Monteiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Versa FC's Rodrigo Marques quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dinei Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Rosa in the 22nd minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Abel Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Rosa in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Paes saved Agua Santa from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Rosa came free, but Abel Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Real Versa FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Real Versa FC's Dinei Rosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agua Santa's goalkeeper Abel Paes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dinei Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kakhi Akhalaia in the 41st minute of the match. Edmundo de Salles struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Abel Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Versa FC. After some careless play in the Agua Santa defense, Dinei Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Paes. The Agua Santa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Paes should have stopped the shot. After the first half Real Versa FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Agua Santa's Emerson Braga was substituted for Tiago Cosme. The wind increased when Ernani Valladares made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Kakhi Akhalaia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Versa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agua Santa the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Kakhi Akhalaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Rosa in the 55th minute of the match. Vasile Arosculesei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Paes made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Kakhi Akhalaia sent off a good shot on target. Dinei Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Rosa in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Paes saved Agua Santa from getting behind. Agua Santa's Abel Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Agua Santa from getting a goal against them. Abel Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agua Santa's Frank Rosa was substituted for Chicão Guerra. Dinei Rosa had several of the Agua Santa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Abel Paes as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Agua Santa's Ernani Valladares in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Versa FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute, Edmundo de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Real Versa FC's Kakhi Akhalaia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Paes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Vasile Arosculesei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Valladares in the 91st minute of play. Edmundo de Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Paes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo de Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. Abel Paes stood somewhat misplaced when Dinei Rosa came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 96 minute. Real Versa FC played a much better game than Agua Santa and deserved their victory. The Agua Santa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
