Róbson Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo dos Santos in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Teixeira. In the 17th match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Flavinho Netto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruy Cearense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dida Mineiro. In the 46th match minute, BEST FABIO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Netto to maneuver through the defense.

Rafinha Paulista scored 3-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Brasilino's Amílton Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruy Cearense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruy Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Paulista in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to BEST FABIO F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tarcisio da Mata hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Rafinha Paulista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy Cearense was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Ruy Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Teixeira in the 67th minute of the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Rafinha Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the BEST FABIO F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brasilino.
