But to his dismay, Hipolito Jerico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pascual Erramun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Berart in the 34th minute. Pascual Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Carboncito booed when chacarita juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match, Arturo Afonso sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Pascual Erramun showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Carboncito's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Lekberg came free, but Sixto Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Arturo Lopez notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of chacarita juniors's Pascual Erramun. Pascual Erramun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Jerico made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Urbano Frisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Lekberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Berart in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Hipolito Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Raul Iruinea fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carboncito's protests and gave Raul Iruinea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Carboncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Niceto Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. chacarita juniors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
