Gold Army 1923's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behiç Askeroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernado Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Ledesma in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Sadikköy Erdoğan FK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Kadir Suerdem hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Ledesma in the 12th minute of play forced Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's goalkeeper Fernado Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Sadikköy Erdoğan FK got a freekick which was hit by Orbay Sadir. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Fernado Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behiç Askeroğlu in the 17th minute of play. Fernado Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behiç Askeroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ali Behzat Durhal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Behzat Durhal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Behzat Durhal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 minutes, Abdulbaki Karabey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sadikköy Erdoğan FK and the Gold Army 1923 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernado Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behiç Askeroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuh Saip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orbay Sadir's late challenge caught a Gold Army 1923's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
