After some careless play in the Snorlax FC defense, Alonzo Cristofol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tancredo Manguyague. The Snorlax FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tancredo Manguyague should have stopped the shot. Hermosillo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Mario Jesus Allu scored to the left of an out of position Sonny Corleone, making the score, 1-1. Tancredo Manguyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Cristofol, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Enmanuel Monroy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Snorlax FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enmanuel Monroy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tancredo Manguyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Cristofol in the 29th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Portusagasti. After the first half Hermosillo FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When Alonzo Cristofol came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hermosillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Cristofol couldn't finish the play. Boguslaw Wydrych could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Tancredo Manguyague made a huge save. In the 58th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Jajko to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Alonzo Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tancredo Manguyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hermosillo FC booed when Snorlax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Portusagasti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Snorlax FC's Mark Aldana was substituted for Enmanuel Monroy. Hermosillo FC's Jonatan Fraco was substituted for Alejandro Lope. Tancredo Manguyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Cristofol in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Alonzo Cristofol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Jesus Allu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sonny Corleone. Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Hermosillo FC's Tancredo Manguyague threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alonzo Cristofol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Amado Portusagasti hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Alonzo Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hermosillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tancredo Manguyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jesus Allu in the 96th minute of play. The Hermosillo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
