With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orland Balda in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Quinten saved Lyons from getting behind. Hugo Canor walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Roberto Jatsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Chago in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Orland Balda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Lyons defense, Orland Balda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Quinten. The Lyons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Quinten should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Orland Balda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyons's Luisito Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orland Balda in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half vengadores Fc were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boleslaw Zielinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. vengadores Fc's Roberto Jatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Salvadore in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Bernardino Endura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vengadores Fc and the Lyons players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roberto Jatsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 61st minute Orland Balda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, vengadores Fc's Orland Balda made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisito Quinten was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 69 minutes, Orland Balda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. vengadores Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orland Balda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lyons made a substitution. Dariusz Roano replaced Boleslaw Zielinski. 76 minutes into the game, Hugo Canor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lyons's Severo Basualdo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dariusz Roano might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Jatsu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
