The coaching staff of S.C. Ferrari protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jerônimo de Alcântara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in S.C. Ferrari fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! S.C. Ferrari's José Augusto Paraíba was substituted for Fletcher Greenan. In the 12th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Vieira to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Godofredo Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Salomone in the 25th minute of the match. Bozkurt Avşaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Bernardo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Salomone took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Lima. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Salomone got free with Bernardo Lima in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 minutes, Ernesto Lavatrice mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Ferrari and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Lavatrice to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Joaquin Uxio in the 47th minute really tested Bernardo Lima's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
