When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Tio Lio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Xie Bang Ang to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 20 minutes, Robert Haegg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Haegg in the 28th minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg. But to his dismay, Robert Haegg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Xie Bang Ang came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tony Pacheco. But to his dismay, Tony Pacheco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 42ndth minute of the game Robert Haegg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Ye Gang Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Haegg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tio Lio to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ye Gang Cheng to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Matro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremy Nicholas having to make a save. In the 70th minute Clemente Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xie Bang Ang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 71st minute of the match. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Silva in the 76th minute of play. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
