Hafız Öztekin struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Lopes in the 33rd minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VB-Team's Baltasar Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Åkerström in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Fred Åkerström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Baltasar Matias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Constantijn De Hond hit a great ball. Fabrício Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Teixeira having to interfere. Fabrício Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The VB-Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Playa Malvín were winning 0-2.

Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hafız Öztekin in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 57th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hafız Öztekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. VB-Team's Arthur Guerra was substituted for Sandro Leitão. In the 88th minute VB-Team were awarded a corner. Hafız Öztekin went to the cornerflag to take it. VB-Team's Mattias Jonasson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes, Gamus Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playa Malvín and the VB-Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Gamus Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chants of Playa Malvín echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as VB-Team had held the ball for most of the match.
