The crowd rose to their feet as Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giotis Tripotseris. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. 10 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's Baturay Zaim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, RED KHAGAN's Mustafa Kemal Deren got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's goalkeeper Giotis Tripotseris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julien Staffelbach. Julien Staffelbach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giotis Tripotseris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, RED KHAGAN's Giotis Tripotseris got control of the ball when Julien Staffelbach tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Ergümen in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julien Staffelbach to strike the kick off in the second half. Giotis Tripotseris came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach. But to his dismay, Julien Staffelbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Christoff Stocks took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giotis Tripotseris. Giotis Tripotseris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yılmaz Başdemir in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Vedillo in the 64th minute of play forced Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The RED KHAGAN fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when RED KHAGAN's Adil Ergümen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 67 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Staffelbach came free, but Giotis Tripotseris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Romulo Abilio was substituted for Christoff Stocks. Aureliano Karlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giotis Tripotseris having to make a save. Giotis Tripotseris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Adil Ergümen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yılmaz Başdemir in the 86th minute of play forced Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Sebastian Vedillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Eztebe. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Vedillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the RED KHAGAN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ.
