An unexpectedly hard shot by Veto Agra in the 22nd minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Bruno Capello notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Yao Yun Qian. Yao Yun Qian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute, Bruno Capello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yao Yun Qian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Capello in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Los Trip were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Capello made a kick off. Yao Yun Qian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Capello's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Veto Agra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florinio Vivera in the 58th minute of the match. Yao Yun Qian made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bruno Capello sent off a good shot on target. In the 68thth minute of the game Bruno Capello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Yao Yun Qian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estebe Constante in the 71st minute of play. Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Joao Montanez was substituted for Florinio Vivera. Los Trip made a substitution. Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca replaced Bruno Capello. Yao Yun Qian was a little too slow when Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The Los Trip fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustín Rossi should have stopped the shot. Los Trip's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
