The audience thought a goal was coming when Damazy Joks got free with Jedrzej Japola in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Ptaszek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. IKS JEZIORAK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgar Ledochowski in the 19th minute. The corner ended in Bernabe Alfonso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Poland's Artur Boruc did a great save. After 19 minutes, Bernabe Alfonso made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. When Edgar Ledochowski fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IKS JEZIORAK's protests and gave Edgar Ledochowski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Poland booed when IKS JEZIORAK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Pietras didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Teofil Ptaszek made the kick off in the second half. Jedrzej Japola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Michnik in the 57th minute of the match. Bernabe Alfonso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Artur Boruc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jedrzej Japola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Joks in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Damian Majewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jedrzej Japola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Tadeusz Raschke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jedrzej Japola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damazy Joks went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute Edward Traczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Japola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, IKS JEZIORAK's Artur Boruc threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teofil Ptaszek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jedrzej Japola came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Poland's Grzegorz Soszka. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Soszka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After some careless play in the IKS JEZIORAK defense, Damazy Joks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jedrzej Japola. The IKS JEZIORAK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jedrzej Japola should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Tadeusz Raschke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1.
