The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frisia AFC's Santos Vigil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Sami Zübeyr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Frisia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Panpili to maneuver through the defense. Frisia AFC's Santos Vigil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match FC Maci -MM- got a corner. Frisia AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carl-Rune Emmenegger ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Maci -MM-'s Carl-Rune Emmenegger to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Vigil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 15th minute of play forced Frisia AFC's goalkeeper Santos Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Frisia AFC defense, Sami Zübeyr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Vigil. The Frisia AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Vigil should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Sami Zübeyr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Santos Vigil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sami Zübeyr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes Frisia AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carl-Rune Emmenegger who took care of the corner kick. FC Maci -MM-'s Nae Tomoioagă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save FC Maci -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frisia AFC's goalkeeper Santos Vigil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Frisia AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carl-Rune Emmenegger took the corner. If Sami Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frisia AFC's Eugenio Truylos was substituted for Ramiro Xacintu. After the first half FC Maci -MM- were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Zübeyr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Carl-Rune Emmenegger hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Santo Panpili came free, but Nae Tomoioagă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Igor Czapski took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Santos Vigil to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 71st minute of play forced Frisia AFC's goalkeeper Santos Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Godfredo Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Tomoioagă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Vigil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sami Zübeyr showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 74 minute of play. FC Maci -MM-'s Rareș Ignea was substituted for Önder Wing. 80 minutes into the match, Sami Zübeyr dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santos Vigil, 1-6. After 83 played minutes Frisia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Matia. Sami Zübeyr who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Santos Vigil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 87th minute FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner. Carl-Rune Emmenegger went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Maci -MM-'s corner Carl-Rune Emmenegger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santos Vigil quite easily take care of the ball. Godfredo Efraim hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Maci -MM- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
