In the 19th minute Caio Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Kochanowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gold Team Bełchatów's Dariusz Kochanowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Silveira in the 21st minute of play. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Caio Silveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 30 minutes into the match, Gold Team Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Silveira came free, but Dariusz Kochanowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Kochanowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Silveira in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Caio Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dariusz Kochanowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. But to his dismay, Caio Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Caio Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dariusz Kochanowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ got a corner. Gold Team Bełchatów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frederik Cueli ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Clarence Seedorf drilling the ball in to score 0-5 behind Gold Team Bełchatów's goalkeeper. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmund Plech made a kick off. A collision led to PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Edgard Dubardo hit a great ball. Apolo Herensuge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Plech in the 55th minute of play. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Caio Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Gold Team Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Azevedo came free, but Dariusz Kochanowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Azevedo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dariusz Kochanowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Matías Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dariusz Kochanowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Matías Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dariusz Kochanowicz having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Gold Team Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Azevedo came free, but Dariusz Kochanowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matías Azevedo scored 0-8 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Kochanowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
