Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Éric Cantona got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Alaejos to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Fred Åkerström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éric Cantona in the 9th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Éric Cantona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Roberto Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Inter de Guayaquil FC got a corner. Playa Malvín's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Humberto Barragan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Inter de Guayaquil FC's corner Humberto Barragan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Roberto Teixeira quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakub Ziombkowski. Jakub Ziombkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Zé Roberto Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fred Åkerström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Hellkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Hellkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 32nd minute of the match Playa Malvín got a corner. The corner led to Playa Malvín's Constantijn De Hond getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éric Cantona in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Barragan to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Åkerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Roberto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakub Ziombkowski in the 38th minute. The Inter de Guayaquil FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Playa Malvín were winning 0-2.

In the 79th minute, Zuberoa Artiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niva Espellosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Sebastian Hellkvist made a huge save. Playa Malvín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sesuldo Roque in the 84th minute.
