An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Alagoano in the 4th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Pedro Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Castanheiro SC's Umberto Dionísio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Cearense. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 16th minute, Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Cearense. Pedro Cearense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Magno Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Anísio Alagoano took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Pedro Cearense to make any attempt to save it. Magno Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Cearense having to interfere. Umberto Dionísio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Pedro Cearense 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Umberto Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Cearense made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Umberto Dionísio sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Castanheiro SC's Magno Pereira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Cearense. Pedro Cearense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. If Umberto Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes in the game, Anísio Alagoano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pedro Cearense having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Bruno Dionísio got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the game's 45th minute Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Pedro Cearense and thus the score was 8-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Dionísio made a kick off. Magno Pereira scored 10-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Cearense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AF CERRADO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. After 62 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Melo. In the 63rd minute of the match Anísio Alagoano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Cearense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner. Anísio Alagoano went to the cornerflag to take it. Pedro Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Nilson Veloso got a free kick in the 66th minute. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Umberto Dionísio sped through AF CERRADO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Cearense. AF CERRADO's Pedro Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Dionísio in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the AF CERRADO defense, Magno Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Cearense. The AF CERRADO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Cearense should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Dionísio in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Cearense saved AF CERRADO from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Alagoano came free, but Pedro Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Célio Vianna hit a great ball. After 87 minutes, Nilson Veloso made it 14-0 with a short kick to the right side. AF CERRADO's Pedro Cearense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Dionísio in the 91st minute of play. When Magno Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Pereira couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Bruno Dionísio got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Castanheiro SC had played much better football throughout.
