With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grabiel Escorcia in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bai Kun De saved Samurai from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Bivall in the 12th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Nacional's attentive Camilo Candido managed to snatch the ball when Cafu Dolar made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Grabiel Escorcia scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bai Kun De, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wu Qi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Aveiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Samurai's Bai Kun De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 30th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Bai Kun De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Grabiel Escorcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bai Kun De was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Cristiano Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Skytt in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wu Qi. Walter Geromel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bai Kun De having to interfere. Cristiano Aveiro made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Wu Qi sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the game, Abram Cadabra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nacional's Camilo Candido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Samurai's zone, Stuart Mayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bai Kun De came out of the goal and Stuart Mayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Samurai players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nacional were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wu Qi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Skytt in the 53rd minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Wu Qi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Nacional booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Candido. Samurai made a substitution. Timmy Henriksson replaced Marcus Skytt. In the 64th minute, Camilo Candido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Wu Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samurai were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Nacional's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Allan Bivall took the corner. The corner ended in Allan Bivall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro did a great save. Cristiano Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 71st minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Bai Kun De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Qi in the 74th minute of the match. Grabiel Escorcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Bai Kun De made a huge save. Cristiano Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Wu Qi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Stuart Mayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wu Qi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xu Sha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bai Kun De firmly grabbed it by the left post.

The Nacional players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
