The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristobal Dominix made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Git!'s Rafettin İlcan. Maurício Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Maurício Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Beltxe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lázaro Cefero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Duman Temizcan made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Cefero got free with Duman Temizcan in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, one of La Git!:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Git!. 17 minutes into the match, Igor Jokin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Git!'s Duman Temizcan. Duman Temizcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Duman Temizcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Jokin in the 21st minute of play. La Git!'s Duman Temizcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Cefero in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute Marno F.C. were awarded a corner. Luciano Sesuldo went to the cornerflag to take it. Marno F.C.'s Luciano Sesuldo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Duman Temizcan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute of the match, Igor Jokin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duman Temizcan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. La Git!'s Eulalio Xabier was substituted for Erlin Håland. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Marno F.C. made a substitution. Froilan Ciano replaced Gabriel Mónos. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Jokin was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th match minute, La Git! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oktay Kahveci to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Git!'s goalkeeper Duman Temizcan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duman Temizcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Ciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Dominix made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Git!'s Demircan Nadi. Özbek İltay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Beltxe having to interfere. Marno F.C.'s Cláudio López was substituted for Cristobal Dominix. La Git!'s Duman Temizcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Ciano in the 79th minute of play. Aldo Beltxe made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Özbek İltay sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute La Git! were awarded a corner. Özbek İltay went to the cornerflag to take it. Oktay Kahveci hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Jokin in the 96th minute of play forced La Git!'s goalkeeper Duman Temizcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
