An unexpectedly hard shot by Son Banana in the 9th minute of play forced Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Fausto Rafe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lawrance See, 2-0. Roman Vachon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Sacchi in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manfredi AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brynn Andrews was slow to take the kick. During this time Stratton FC's players had a chance to rest. Alessandro Sacchi might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Vachon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessandro Sacchi ran back to his position shaking his head. Lawrance See showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Son Banana in the 18th minute of the match. Son Banana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stratton FC's Alberto Sinden managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Virgilio Tajo in the 26 minute of the game. Manfredi AFC's Roman Vachon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Sacchi in the 27th minute of play. Lawrance See showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lawrance See took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Cristinel Paraschivescu put in a rough tackle. 39 minutes into the game, one of Stratton FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Stratton FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Son Banana to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Son Banana came free, but Lawrance See reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Son Banana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrance See saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute of the game, Fausto Rafe landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 62 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's Aristides Cesaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lawrance See narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stratton FC's Lawrance See played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Son Banana in the 64th minute of play. Manfredi AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
