Östen Löfgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Jardel Reis came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Röfors's Vidar Löfgren. But to his dismay, Vidar Löfgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Papo Napolitano fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Röfors's protests and gave Papo Napolitano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Papo Napolitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes, Deivid de Salles made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Röfors's Östen Löfgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Östen Löfgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, Röfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Qvarnström to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Deivid de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

After taking down the ball on Catadão's corner Álvaro Godoi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Östen Löfgren quite easily take care of the ball. There was no doubt that Catadão were the better team. Catadão's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
