Spectators: 500 (Terracing: 376, Seating: 115, VIP seats: 9) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edwin Koppen took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Zdzislaw Biraga fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1909 Tarnovia's protests and gave Zdzislaw Biraga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, 1909 Tarnovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Biraga to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Koppen got free with Victor Curea in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Prosper Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfried Van Gertsuyden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wils FC's Godfried Van Gertsuyden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Wils FC booed when 1909 Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Gondela didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Biraga in the 15th minute of play forced Wils FC's goalkeeper Godfried Van Gertsuyden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Wils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prosper Vandamme came free, but Godfried Van Gertsuyden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes Wils FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zenon Hetman who took care of the corner kick. 25 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Harald De Messemaeckre came free, but Victor Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wils FC's Godfried Van Gertsuyden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Prosper Vandamme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfried Van Gertsuyden was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 39thth minute of the game Prosper Vandamme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wils FC's Godfried Van Gertsuyden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godfried Van Gertsuyden came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by 1909 Tarnovia's Prosper Vandamme. But to his dismay, Prosper Vandamme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Godfried Van Gertsuyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Biraga in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes 1909 Tarnovia got a freekick which was hit by Karol Pisarcik. After the first half 1909 Tarnovia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Prosper Vandamme made the kick off in the second half. If Zdzislaw Biraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Curea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Godfried Van Gertsuyden didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Etienne Van Achteren came free, but Victor Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfried Van Gertsuyden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prosper Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prosper Vandamme in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfried Van Gertsuyden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Koppen came free, but Victor Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfried Van Gertsuyden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prosper Vandamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Etienne Van Achteren came free, but Victor Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Curea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald De Messemaeckre, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Harald De Messemaeckre took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Curea. Victor Curea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to 1909 Tarnovia getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Karol Pisarcik hit a great ball. Victor Curea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Koppen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Wils FC booed when 1909 Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Gondela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Wils FC's Edwin Koppen made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Curea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Godfried Van Gertsuyden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prosper Vandamme in the 93rd minute of the match. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 2-2. Extra-time would have to be played.

In the 112th minute, Wils FC's Edwin Koppen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Wils FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
