BPS F.C.'s Nektarios Varveris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save BPS F.C. from getting a goal against them. CD Municipal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martino Armona in the 17th minute. Zlatan Molina was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alekos Voreadis in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Cassaretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nektarios Varveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oalo Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Peter Haber.

The BPS F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BPS F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
