Spectators: 524 (Terracing: 394, Seating: 120, VIP seats: 10) Gwarek Zabrze's Richie Puch started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enzo Noce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Wielowiejski in the 3rd minute of the match. Lu Xi Le took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Łukasz Fabiański. Łukasz Fabiański dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of The Nerd Herd booed when Gwarek Zabrze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match The Nerd Herd got a corner. Gwarek Zabrze's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Odysseas Lagidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Odysseas Lagidis made a great header on The Nerd Herd's corner, it was just that Gwarek Zabrze's Łukasz Fabiański managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22nd minute, Gwarek Zabrze's Pawel Wielowiejski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After having played for 24 minutes, Pawel Wielowiejski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gwarek Zabrze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pawel Wielowiejski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes Gwarek Zabrze's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Odysseas Lagidis who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Odysseas Lagidis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gwarek Zabrze's Łukasz Fabiański did a great save. Łukasz Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Xi Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Lu Xi Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Łukasz Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lu Xi Le in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Łukasz Fabiański saved Gwarek Zabrze from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lu Xi Le to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Lu Xi Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Łukasz Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lu Xi Le took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Łukasz Fabiański. Łukasz Fabiański dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Gwarek Zabrze defense, Lu Xi Le kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. The Gwarek Zabrze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Łukasz Fabiański should have stopped the shot. Ni Zhan Kun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When The Nerd Herd's Lu Xi Le in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gwarek Zabrze's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Lu Xi Le had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. Gwarek Zabrze's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lu Xi Le was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Łukasz Fabiański took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Xi Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richie Puch's late challenge caught a The Nerd Herd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richie Puch helped the player get up and apologised. If Lu Xi Le had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Gwarek Zabrze:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Nerd Herd:s goal. Łukasz Fabiański had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Lu Xi Le's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Łukasz Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Xi Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Lu Xi Le blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Łukasz Fabiański having to make a save. Gwarek Zabrze's Łukasz Fabiański played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Xi Le in the 93rd minute of play.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Nerd Herd walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
