Spectators: 496 (Terracing: 373, Seating: 114, VIP seats: 9) Kayserispor's Arda Ozan Ceberut started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remi Van Linthoud did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Mike Zoetmulder 4 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arda Ozan Ceberut in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Zoetmulder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Kadri Tuncel kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Ozan Ceberut came free, but Mike Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Zoetmulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Ozan Ceberut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Ozan Ceberut came free, but Mike Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias de Ruijter came free, but Erkan Sadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remi Van Linthoud. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Theo Tuyp got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Erben Roelofs. Kenan Utkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kayserispor's Erkan Sadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias de Ruijter in the 19th minute of play. Montrel Perpiñán took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erkan Sadi. Erkan Sadi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fu Peng Feng hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The long shot by Kenan Utkan in the 31st minute really tested Mike Zoetmulder's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Remi Van Linthoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mike Zoetmulder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remi Van Linthoud came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mike Zoetmulder could save by the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathias de Ruijter to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montrel Perpiñán in the 56th minute of play forced Kayserispor's goalkeeper Erkan Sadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arda Ozan Ceberut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias de Ruijter in the 59th minute of play forced Kayserispor's goalkeeper Erkan Sadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Zoetmulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hong Zhan Bang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Zoetmulder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakut Deryace in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Mathias de Ruijter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erkan Sadi. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 69th minute, De Pelgrims's Montrel Perpiñán dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 74th minute Mike van Zeijl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkan Sadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remi Van Linthoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Remi Van Linthoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huub Gerrits made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kayserispor's Ahmet Kadri Tuncel. Mike Zoetmulder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remi Van Linthoud in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goalkeeper Erkan Sadi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias de Ruijter. After having played for 87 minutes, Arda Ozan Ceberut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kayserispor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arda Ozan Ceberut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erkan Sadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias de Ruijter in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Mathias de Ruijter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erkan Sadi. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kayserispor's goalkeeper Erkan Sadi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
