Örjan Johansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melikertes Siannas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Johansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Mike Cassar Torreggiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Glenn Raeijmaeckers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Melikertes Siannas firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 8th minute Blåvitt were awarded a corner. Stefan Eriksson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Stefan Eriksson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Melikertes Siannas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Melikertes Siannas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Johansson in the 11th minute of play. Gösta Lundberg made a great header on Blåvitt's corner, it was just that FRIENDS CITY's Melikertes Siannas managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, FRIENDS CITY's Melikertes Siannas got control of the ball when Glenn Raeijmaeckers tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Örjan Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Blåvitt's zone, Wanderson de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Cassar Torreggiani came out of the goal and Wanderson de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emílio Santana hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Stefan Eriksson's shot from long distance in the 27th minute was not bad at all, but FRIENDS CITY's Melikertes Siannas knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Saldanha came free, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melikertes Siannas having to interfere. A collision led to FRIENDS CITY getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rafa Saldanha hit a great ball. Melikertes Siannas made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Glenn Raeijmaeckers sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Souto in the 37th minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Mike Cassar Torreggiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blåvitt's Gösta Lundberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Souto to strike the kick off in the second half. Melikertes Siannas came out of the goal and Örjan Johansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn Raeijmaeckers in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melikertes Siannas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedrinho Negri's late challenge caught a Blåvitt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Negri helped the player get up and apologised. Pedrinho Negri hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Blåvitt's Glenn Raeijmaeckers got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gösta Lundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Örjan Johansson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Melikertes Siannas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blåvitt. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Raeijmaeckers in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melikertes Siannas saved FRIENDS CITY from getting behind. Melikertes Siannas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Johansson in the 76th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Wanderson de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Johansson. Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Saldanha in the 95th minute of play. Wanderson de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mike Cassar Torreggiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
