Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Lu Xi Le sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Joe Tate made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Noce. The Nerd Herd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Odysseas Lagidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Valko De Hond hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Prospero Jerardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Nerd Herd's Enzo Noce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Lu Xi Le managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Nerd Herd's supporters rose to their feet, but Lu Xi Le was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Verdun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When The Nerd Herd's Lu Xi Le in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Errecaborda AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Lu Xi Le's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lu Xi Le in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmond Verdun saved Errecaborda AFC from getting behind. Enzo Noce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Terra in the 54th minute of the match. The Nerd Herd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Odysseas Lagidis in the 57th minute. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Xi Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Lu Xi Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nerd Herd were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Odysseas Lagidis took the corner. The corner led The Nerd Herd's Odysseas Lagidis to fire away a dangerous shot which Edmond Verdun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joe Tate took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Noce. Enzo Noce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Nerd Herd's Enzo Noce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 73rd minute of play. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Xi Le in the 75th minute of play. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Armeanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Lu Xi Le cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Edmond Verdun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. But to his dismay, Lu Xi Le quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 92nd minute Lu Xi Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Errecaborda AFC defense, Lu Xi Le kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Verdun should have stopped the shot. The Nerd Herd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
