After a defensive mix-up in FC Saxon's zone, Mariano Pavone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaw Lech came out of the goal and Mariano Pavone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Fabricio Lizer got a free kick in the 21st minute. FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Hartz in the 23rd minute of play. Gavino Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Cichowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliks Piechna got free with Gavino Belarmo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Cichowski in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Cichowski in the 34th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Pavone in the 36th minute of play forced FC Saxon's goalkeeper Gustaw Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Belarmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wojciech Piesciuk in the 37th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kazimierz Cichowski made a kick off. Ludomil Zajonc's late challenge caught a Metapalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomil Zajonc helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Metapalo FC's Gaudencio Hartz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gustaw Lech. In the 57thth minute of the game Mariano Pavone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Mariano Pavone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metapalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Pavone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Wojciech Piesciuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Cichowski in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match, Ronaldinho Hoffmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustaw Lech was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Cichowski in the 76th minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Cichowski in the 86th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's Ronaldinho Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaw Lech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Metapalo FC were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after FC Saxon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Marmol took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Saxon's goalie and right to Mariano Pavone. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Saxon's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Pavone didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Metapalo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
