A sloppy throw-in by Ben Hart in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Keszi Athletic's Anton Kutnjak. Walery Zawada made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sebastian Pyrzyce. The supporters of Zielonka Gdansk booed when Keszi Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugó Révész didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Zielonka Gdansk getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Madaleno Baltanas hit a great ball. Hugó Révész's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacques Ottens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Hugó Révész had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacques Ottens made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Hugó Révész sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Walery Zawada in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Keszi Athletic's Sabin Calderon. Hugó Révész could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jacques Ottens made a huge save. In the 31st minute Hugó Révész shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacques Ottens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugó Révész might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacques Ottens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugó Révész ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiu Ling Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Qiu Ling Lang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Claudinho Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Jacques Ottens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugó Révész. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Keszi Athletic's Kornél Kerekes was substituted for Anton Kutnjak. Keszi Athletic made a substitution. István Gyurkovics replaced Vaios Vourtzoumis. After having played for 54 minutes, Sebastian Pyrzyce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zielonka Gdansk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Pyrzyce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudinho Taffarel firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 63 minutes, Ganga Banga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacques Ottens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the Zielonka Gdansk defense, Hugó Révész kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacques Ottens. The Zielonka Gdansk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacques Ottens should have stopped the shot. When Keszi Athletic's Hugó Révész in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zielonka Gdansk's goalie prevented a goal. If Hugó Révész had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Hugó Révész put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacques Ottens. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Jacques Ottens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Keszi Athletic's Sabin Calderon tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Pyrzyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keszi Athletic's Hugó Révész got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Hugó Révész off the ground. In the 94th match minute, Keszi Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugó Révész to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Keszi Athletic had won after a very even match.
