Squadra Sulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stelian Butuc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Tamulewicz in the 5th minute of play forced Squadra Sulista's goalkeeper Eloy Casagrande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dacians Academy fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Dacians Academy's Iwo Tamulewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwo Tamulewicz in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Casagrande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eloy Casagrande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Tamulewicz's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Ronaldinho do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Butuc having to interfere. Eloy Casagrande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Tamulewicz in the 14th minute of play. Squadra Sulista's Eloy Casagrande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Sulista from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Iwo Tamulewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iwo Tamulewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Casagrande having to interfere. Stelian Butuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Squadra Sulista were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Dacians Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardo Cabral took the corner. After 30 played minutes Squadra Sulista got a freekick which was hit by Almir Alagoano. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dacians Academy's goalkeeper Stelian Butuc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloy Casagrande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Tamulewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dacians Academy were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Squadra Sulista's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fermin Prejun took the corner. The corner ended in Fermin Prejun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Squadra Sulista's Eloy Casagrande did a great save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldinho do Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. Stelian Butuc made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Renato Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. If Iwo Tamulewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dacians Academy's Stelian Butuc got control of the ball when Ronaldinho do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dacians Academy had won after a very even match.
