The Cha Fe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Pacho should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Yang in the 9th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Tripodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Pacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Baumer in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yin Yang came free, but Elvio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Marlin FC's zone, Teobaldo Phelipe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Janpier came out of the goal and Teobaldo Phelipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yin Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Elvio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marlin FC made a substitution. Melchor Oidor replaced Luiz Fábio das Neves. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Achille Tripodi to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Anibal Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Baumer.
