The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Fermin Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Robu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Porfirio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ştefan Moculescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. When Atilano Gipuzkoa fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liquid Spirit's protests and gave Atilano Gipuzkoa a yellow card for diving instead. Atilano Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Benicio Porfirio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pompiliu Bugariu in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Liquid Spirit's Eleuterio Azibar got a free kick in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Ştefan Moculescu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Liquid Spirit's Benicio Porfirio. Benicio Porfirio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benicio Porfirio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ştefan Moculescu's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes, Ştefan Moculescu made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Liquid Spirit's Benicio Porfirio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manole Robu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Virila in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, The Valar's Emanuel Şelaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Pompiliu Bugariu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Benicio Porfirio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emanuel Şelaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Benicio Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olimpiu Pascu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Fermin Chaime made the kick off in the second half. Pompiliu Bugariu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emanuel Şelaru came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the The Valar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Şelaru couldn't finish the play. Pompiliu Bugariu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benicio Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Valar's Ştefan Moculescu managed to work through Liquid Spirit's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ştefan Moculescu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Benjamin Virila hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Benicio Porfirio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Moculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Manole Robu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 74 minutes into the match, Liquid Spirit's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Şelaru came free, but Benicio Porfirio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Pompiliu Bugariu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benicio Porfirio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Moculescu in the 80th minute of play. Manole Robu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Chaime in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Liquid Spirit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Azibar to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes, The Valar's Mugurel Seţeanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benicio Porfirio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Valar reached it. Benicio Porfirio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Bugariu's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Emanuel Şelaru charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Şelaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Şelaru hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Fermin Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liquid Spirit's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Chaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Robu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Valar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
