After a rather tough play, KS Greenpi's Dong Ping got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 19th minute, Dante Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The KS Greenpi fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when KS Greenpi's Vincent Meier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Imran Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Ping in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to KS Greenpi getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dong Ping hit a great ball. Andres Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Pochorylo having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Pello to make the kick off.
