Tivadar Demeter started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, MAVARK - Działoszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Barnaba Wachna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MAVARK - Działoszyn's attentive Ludomil Kolba managed to snatch the ball when Mon Key made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Barnaba Wachna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barnaba Wachna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute Tivadar Demeter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Wachna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 30th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the MAVARK - Działoszyn defense, Tivadar Demeter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barnaba Wachna. The MAVARK - Działoszyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barnaba Wachna should have stopped the shot. Szombathely Squirrels's József Varga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmund Niedzwiecki, made in the 35th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tivadar Demeter in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnaba Wachna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was a well-played corner which József Varga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 43rd minute, Tivadar Demeter made a precise shot to the right of Barnaba Wachna. MAVARK - Działoszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

MAVARK - Działoszyn's Eugeniusz Pyrtek was substituted for Shitu Shittu. MAVARK - Działoszyn's Cyryl Zagrodny was substituted for Dariusz Motowski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. Barnaba Wachna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tivadar Demeter might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barnaba Wachna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tivadar Demeter ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, MAVARK - Działoszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Barnaba Wachna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Zagrodny in the 66th minute of the match. MAVARK - Działoszyn were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Szombathely Squirrels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Howard Lovecraft took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Franciszek Gollob got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnold Szuper quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 72 minutes into the match, Lei Jian Xiong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barnaba Wachna. MAVARK - Działoszyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lei Jian Xiong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Barnaba Wachna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong in the 75th minute of play. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 78th minute of the match. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Zagrodny in the 81st minute of play. Barnaba Wachna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bai Jun Chong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Wachna having to interfere. MAVARK - Działoszyn were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Szombathely Squirrels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Howard Lovecraft took the corner. MAVARK - Działoszyn's Howard Lovecraft was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnold Szuper in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 93 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Pyrtek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAVARK - Działoszyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szombathely Squirrels the free kick. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when MAVARK - Działoszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Pyrtek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
