Valentin Voicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iraido Bertiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Voicu ran back to his position shaking his head. Iraido Bertiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Voicu in the 32nd minute of play. Franz Corral made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Valentin Voicu. 41 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's Mattijs Berghmans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carles Olle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Raimundo Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Valhalla Time was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Karp to maneuver through the defense. After the first half VILLARREAL UNITED were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Mattijs Berghmans made the kick off in the second half. VILLARREAL UNITED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Delmar Campello in the 55th minute. Iraido Bertiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Voicu's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Valentin Voicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iraido Bertiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Mattijs Berghmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VILLARREAL UNITED's Carles Olle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
