Luciano Mijares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 莫鹏青 in the 20th minute of the match. Juliusz Borucki hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute 莫鹏青 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Mijares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 24 in the game by Macerio Oteo from a close distance when the talented Emilio Posada managed to make a qualified save. DS Milan's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Culebreros Unidos's Rojelio Serna got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes, DS Milan's Syd Barrett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luciano Mijares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Culebreros Unidos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luciano Mijares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernest Wilimowski went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Culebreros Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Wilimowski came free, but Luciano Mijares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandon Gambin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes, Syd Barrett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DS Milan and the Culebreros Unidos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luciano Mijares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernest Wilimowski's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Ernest Wilimowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Macerio Oteo was the one to do the kick off. Mark Scriha hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute Barney Widdrington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Mijares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite this Emilio Posada quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Syd Barretts short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Luciano Mijares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 76th minute Ernest Wilimowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Mijares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Syd Barrett got free with Luciano Mijares in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luciano Mijares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 莫鹏青, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
